Definition
The Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy defines “healthy work place” & “occupational hazards”. The organization’s definition of “healthy workplace” is aligned with WHO’s definition of healthy workplace i.e. A healthy workplace is one in which employee/s collaborate and promote health, safety and well-being of all employee/s at workplace. “Occupational hazards” are defined as a condition that may adversely affect the well-being or health of the exposed employee/s. The Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy defines the principles on which the Organization’s Workplace Health Safety policy has been devised.
Scope and Applicability
The Scope of Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy is to lay strong guidelines for safety within the organization. Employee/s must adhere to the Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy in order to avoid any incidences that are considered as hazardous and/or any incidences that are pose threat to employee/s health and life. The Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy is applicable to all employee/s and/or consultant/s working with the organization.
Objective
The Objective of Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy is to endure safety at workplace and prevention of employee/s from succumbing to hazardous activities, if any at the workplace. The objective of Organization Health and safety is to ensure that health and safety is accessible to employee/s working at different levels of hierarchy within the organization.
The aim of Occupational Workplace Health Safety Policy is to maintain professional standards of safety within the organization and overall organization work culture.
